"Anger and sorrow is good. They make a mind highly manipulable." -Harbinger

The man called Harbinger, real name unknown, was the leader of The Dawned Ones, the dark cult that worshipped the arch-demon Vagora, and rumors say that he has had that position of leadership for over fifty years, all up until the cult was absorbed by The Dark Brotherhood and was made a separate branch of this dark society. Harbinger happily accepted this merging, as he believed the Dark Brotherhood was a larger group of followers of Vagora from another part of the galaxy. He was equally content with giving up his position of leader, as he believed The Triumvirate were Vagora's chosen prophets.

Very little is known about Harbinger's past, but it is said that he was born into the Dawned Ones and was raised to embrace the views of the ancient cult. He was early shown to have a brittle body with permanently stiff joints, which only worsened as he approached old age, but he also showed signs of being a prodigy in tactical and strategic thinking, and he was a master at organizing. This along with his ruthless mindset soon made him climb the ranks of the cult through high amounts of backstabbing and psychological manipulation. His brilliant mind also soon proved to be a useful murder weapon; it is said that he, using nothing but words, once made a perfectly healthy man go into a depression and commit suicide.

Upon the discovery of mana in 2864G.C, Harbinger had hopes that he was gifted with the use of Dark Mana, such as his now former apprentice Ta'vích Hakreya had been gifted. However, to his disappointment, Harbinger was not able to use any type of mana. This simple fact made Harbinger greatly question what he had thought was his fate to reawaken Vagora and bring him back to the mortal world. That was, until he was one day given a mysterious, blue crystal-like ball as a gift from his apprentice Ta'vích. Ta'vích would not tell him what material the ball was made of, as it was extremely light but neigh impossible to destroy, but it was clear to Harbinger that the ball had immense amounts of mana within it, and to his great joy, he found that he could use this mysterious orb to accomplish tasks that would normally require an immensely gifted mana user to do.

Now, although weak and brittle in the body, Harbinger leads a large portion of the Requiem armies, using his brilliant mind and powerful orb to cause destruction wherever he goes.
