Vagora, meaning Chaos in a dead Croiz dialect, is an immortal demonic creature of pure darkness belonging to the domain of The Divine Quartet. Although Sky King Ragez clearly states during the story that the Inclination of a nation and/or character has nothing to do with whether the nation or person in question is evil or good, Vagora is a being of complete and pure evil, as he serves as his dominion's avatar of chaos. And consequently, as form is orderly in a way, Vagora has no real form of his own, but can take the shape he pleases; be it a dark mist, a grotesque monster or simply nothing at all.
Over two thousand years ago, the Croiz trapped Vagora in The Void using the very first Void Orb after the creature nearly descended the domain completely into chaos in his war against Tharica. There his powers were almost completely nullified by the strong magic binding him to the orb, and so the only trace of him was the small ounce of chaos that allowed life to exist and evolve. That was until Hazzet Vaisk received Oblivion from the Ventus. The sheer dark power of Oblivion was so strong that the simple fact that a living being from the domain of the Divine Quartet possessed it made him able to fight against the orb's magical powers and communicate with mortals again. Adding that with the undying faith of the Dawned Ones, Vagora was able to mentally attack everyone, even those from outside his domain. Trying to get the Gu'ush to be lost in darkness, thus giving him Oblivion's full power, Vagora constantly attacks the Gu'ush's mind, trying to persuade him to embrace the darkness of Oblivion rather than control it. Should Vagora succeed, he would be able to descend the entire universe into complete chaos.
The ironic thing is that Vagora is in fact needed for life to exist in the domain of the Divine Quartet. Should it not be for his chaotic influence, the domain would go dead and sterile, since life in itself is chaotic.
