Not to be mistaken with Electromagnetic Weaponry which use magnetism, these weapons use a variety of standard ballistics using a fuel propellant of some kind. Most, if not all, Empires have these in some form, even if they are considered obsolete. These weapons however are still quite deadly regardless, and find plenty of use in the galaxy at Large.

New Covenant SP Weapons
New Covenant has weapons, mostly considered obsolete while others are considered the Epitome of Of this type of Weaponry, has a plethora of these types of Weapons, and are usually used on preference when it comes to Guardsmen.
Infantry Weapons
Machine Guns, Assault Rifles, Pistols, Rifles, and Shotguns can be found in this category. All of these use caseless ammunition and projectiles made from Harden Plastic-ceramic mixes, to Steel-plastic Mixes, though in the case of Shotguns it is usually just steel shot as other types of shot are not as effective.
The Weapons themselves are made from Plastic and steel mix, which makes them light and reliable. The most standard weapon is the G-416 Autogun, which appears as a mix between a M-16 and the AK-47. It was the standard Assault rifle of the Guard forces until being phased out and replaced with more efficient Laser weapons, but large stock piles of the weapons still remain withing New Covenant bases, along with Ammunition. A Variant of this Gun, the G-416H sported an elongated body, and Barrel and fired the same caliber but at higher rates, and could sport either a box or drum Magazine.
The Ammunition for The Autogun is interesting, in that while being solid projectiles weapons one variant of the Ammunition that became most widely used was the Flail round. The Flail round is a Ceramic Plastic round with a plastic explosive charge inside that explodes on contact and sometimes after penetration. This round became widely used and produced in the years before switching to laser weapons and it was highly effective against lightly armored and shielded targets, but was worthless against harder targets such as Power Armored units. Lightly Armored units however are killed easily and shield fall quickly to the rounds, as the Round impact combine with the explosion after adds high amounts of stress to personal shield usually causing them to fail rapidly. In Units with no Armor, death is guaranteed.
Standard ammunition is available in large Quantities, But the Flail round is usually most preferred since it only improves the damage capability of the weapon.
Special Forces Weapons
Special Forces weapons include those used by the Crusaders, Assassins, and even elite Troops within the Guard as well. The Rectus Assassins use a Powerful Sniper rifle, Called the Aequitas Rifle, capable of firing multiple types of rounds, being capable of taking out shielded targets, heavily armored target and even vehicles. It is equipped with an advanced scope that interfaces with its user via neural linking making it incredibly accurate even at distances in excess of 3 miles.
As for the Crusaders they use the Powerful Lance Assault Rifle, which fires Armor piercing Gyroscopic Explosive rounds at high velocities, and remains excellent accuracy due to the rounds rocket propelled nature. The round is first propelled by the a standard combustible material and then the built in solid fuel burns of activating its gyroscopic high velocity spins, propelling it forward at higher speeds than expected of such a large round, and impacting with tremendous force. Other Type of Lances exist, such as ones design for sniping with sport a longer barrel and use the same round but with a longer casing for a higher velocity round. The Crusader variants are larger than ones meant for normal Humans, as the Crusader Lances have technologies in them that let them neurally interface with the Crusader's power armor for optimal accuracy.
Human variants are smaller but fire the same round and do not have the advance tech in them for interfacing but operate the same, However these usually have been modified in their own regard to lower the recoil so Humans can use them.
Another Crusader variant is the Storm Lance, which is a twin barreled lance that is capable of extreme rates of fire as compared to a normal lance, it also uses a box magazine or in older models, two Lance Magazine. The weapon is so powerful though that it is often use as a pintel mounted weapon on tanks.
Heavy Weapons
Among Heavy weapons are many devastating choices, and lighter heavy weapons mostly being the standard .50 caliber Machine gun which is used in place of other weapons when they are not available, even with such an old design its killing power has not diminished in the slightest and is truly only ineffective against highly armored targets.
The Heavy Lance is a Common heavy weapon using Heavier Lance rounds and firing them rapidly making effective Anti-Infantry weapon that decimates light infantry and can be used in killing Heavy Infantry as well and is good against light armored vehicles. The Caliber of the round is larger, and is commonly mounted on vehicles, used in defense turrets, used by Heavy Weapons teams, and used by the Crusaders as Man held Heavy Weapons.
The AutoCannon is another popular heavy weapon that is typically used by vehicles as either the main weapon on light vehicles and as a coaxial gun on the standard Greatsword. It is also used by heavy weapons teams on the ground and is a common weapon on the aerial craft of the New Covenant. Crusaders can use this as a heavy weapon as well, but it his fired from the hip and in bursts. The standard Caliber of the weapon is roughly 30mm to 35mm, and uses armor piercing explosive rounds. As a Heavy weapon it has range beyond the Assault cannon making it effective at killing targets at distance.
The Assault Cannon is a six barreled rotary cannon, it fires large, approximately 19.05mm, caseless adamantium tipped explosive rounds, and fires them at about 1500rpm. This weapon sees most of it use by the Crusaders where it is mounted on their Heavy Walkers, Sarcophagi, and it is also mounted on many of their vehicles and aircraft. New Covenant Aircraft also see use of them on certain Variants. The extreme heat and wear generated by the guns usually mean the barrels are replaced after an engagement, especially in the case where the weapon is used by Crusader Juggernauts, where immediately after an engagement the gun is repaired and blessed which due to the shortness of juggernaut engagements it is wholly practical. This weapon is an anti-armor weapon, and can shred light and heavy infantry alike as well as tear into vehicles. It is only hindered by a shorter range, and makes it a good street sweeper.
Larger Variants
The Battle Cannon is the most common high powered cannon of the New Covenant. It is a high caliber cannon, using 122mm smoothbore that fires advanced rounds, either armor piercing for Anti-Vehicular warfare, Explosive for bombarding troops, and even crowd control variants that fire rubber shot pellets. This cannon has stood the test of time and is deployed in mass, fielded on the Tiber Main Battle Tanks as its standard weapon, and can be found in economical versions of the August Heavy Tank and the Greatsword as Twin-linked on a single turret.
The Battle Cannon mk2 sports the same Caliber of bullet with but a larger shell, and is designed for tank hunting, and it is only mounted on Tank Hunting variants of the Tiber tank.
The Battle Cannon Ultra is the Epitome of the battle cannon and is only found on Greatswords as it's main weapon, it has a Longer barrel and fires a 125mm shell, but the Shell is designed like the Lance round, being both explosive and armor piercing, it uses rocket propulsion combined with standard combustion propellent and has gyroscopic stabilizing for maximum accuracy and higher speeds than standard ammunition. This Cannon can also be found on the Turret of large Crusader Dropships.
The Devastator Super Gatling is a massive Gattling gun that fires advanced armor piercing rounds at around 4200rpm, and fires armor piercing rounds typically having a plastic-steel mix sheath with a small adamantium core for penetration. The round is devastating to all vehicles and only the Largest vehicles can withstand its onslaught, and that is only if their weak spots are not targeted. This weapon can be mounted on the Tiber Tank Turret in place of its standard gun making it effective in controlling large numbers of enemies and can even utterly destroy heavy infantry with its sheer amount of firepower, chewing threw even the heaviest of infantry through rapid destruction of armor. This Weapon is more often fielded on the Brimstone Gunship, where it can provide air to ground support against enemy ranks and vehicles.
The Grand Cannon is a humongous cannon, but it is not a typical SPW, but it uses much of its mechanics, Refer to Electromagnetic Weaponry for details on how said weapons work. It is both a SPW and Railgun and it is mounted on Space ships as a standard weapon in the Broadside guns of ships. It fires a massive Caseless round of huge proportions and uses a magnetic rail integrated into the weapons smooth bore for additional acceleration, effectively using both types of acceleration, saving energy by using combustion as the primary accelerate and the Rail as a boost. The Weapon fires huge rounds that have a Metallic mix and Ceramics with adamantium tips for piercing, and packed to the brim with explosives. The Gun is effective in ship to ship combat as well as bombarding a planet, with imprecise bombardments, though it is precise enough to hit in the targeted area, and usually the ship can fire dozens from its broadside depending on ship class and if they take Broadside weapons instead of Hangars.

Edolas SP Weapons
The Kingdom of Edolas generally prefers Electromagnetic Weaponry and Plasma Weaponry over Solid Projectile Weaponry, seeing it as an ineffective and old method of propulsion. However, many older, powerful, weapons are still in service in the Edolas military; purely for their still-present combat lethality and reliability. Their role has mostly been replaced by the aforementioned weapons, but will likely not be fully retired until a few more decades.
Infantry Weapons
M40 'Casull' Handgun The Casull is a classical semi-automatic handgun based on the designs of the Human arms manufacturer Colt. Despite the age of the design, the Ventus were easily able to vastly improve it with modern upgrades such as electrothermal chemical technology in order for it to match up to other handguns. The Casull is approximately 39 cm in length, the reason for this long length being to improve recoil dampening and round stopping power. The Casull regularly fires a powerful 10mm round encased in a full metal jacket with Sakuradite used in both the ignition charge and the explosive tip, but can also fire hollow tips, tracer rounds, and several other different types of ammunition.
M45 'Mauser' Submachine Gun The M45 is a fully-automatic submachine gun based on relatively recent innovations by Ventus scientists, it uses electrothermal chemical technology to fire rounds without the need for moving parts via using a plasma cartridge to ignite and control the ammunition's propellant, using electrical energy to trigger the process. With this technology, and other advancements created by Ventus scientists, the Mauser is able to fire at a rate of two thousand and five hundred rounds per minute. This extremely high rate of fire is what has kept the Mauser in service, along with it's caliber size and variable ammunition types.
M44 'Arcus' Battle Rifle The M44 is a select-fire rifle that has been in service for over twenty years in the Edolas military. The Ventus employ the Arcus as a medium-range marksman rifle; it fires 9.5x40mm ammunition from a 40 round magazine, which fits flush in the receiver. The magazine housing is built directly into the underside of the stock of the rifle and is located behind the grip. This titanium alloy weapon is gas-operated with a rotating bolt and therefore must be charged before the first round can be fired. The charging handle used to chamber the round is located on the left side of the weapon and does not move during operation, but is pushed back during reloading. The rifle has a housed magazine in the stock. The ejection port is located on the right side of the weapon. The Arcus remains in service in the Edolas military due to its ease of use and its lethality, in addition to its reliability and its lack of recoil.
M46 'Cygnus' Sniper Rifle The M46 is a semi-automatic Edolas sniper rifle that fires 14.5 x 114mm APFSDS (Armor-Piercing Fin-Stabilized Discarding Sabot) from a 5-round magazine. It is designed in the conventional layout, so the magazine and operating system are located in front of the trigger. The Cyngus is gas-operated. The action must be cycled to chamber the first round. Once the first round is fired, the gases from the previous round forces the bolt back, seating a new round on its return forward, and continues to do so until the mag is empty. Once the mag is empty, the bolt locks back and the mag is removed. After a new magazine is inserted, the bolt catch button must be pressed which releases the bolt forward, placing a new round into the chamber. The charging handle is on the left side of the rifle - allowing the user to cycle the action without unseating the weapon - and is physically a part of the bolt, and travels during operation of the weapon. The weapon is about 187.5 cm long and is completely interchangeable. From the barrel to the breech to the stock, everything can be changed to fit the current situation and satisfy the operator. The M46 continues to be in service in the Edolas military due to both it's incredibly accurate hit ratio of 97.3% and it's sheer killing power.
Heavy Weapons
M50 'Harkonnen' Anti-Material/Anti-Personel Cannon Weighing 85 lb unloaded, the 25 mm, single-shot breech loader M50 is an incredibly powerful infantry cannon. The Harkonnen uses various types of shells, including depleted uranium with tungsten for piercing armored targets, incendiary napalm rounds for destroying large groups of opponents both on land and in the air, rocket-assisted shells with explosive Sakuradite payloads, and even grapeshot-type shells for taking out infantry. This adaptability and sheer power has allowed the M50 to remain in service in the Edolas military, despite it's heavy weight making it an unpopular option among most Ventus soldiers.
