VNTK (commonly referred to as "Ventak"), an initialism for Vy'zora Noziali ma Tech'katí i Korì, translated to English as Bureau of National Security and Intelligence, is the main security agency of the Crescanian Confederacy. Formed in 2840G.C. as a direct successor to the former ZJK, it is the chief government agency acting as internal security, intelligence, and secret police. Its main functions are foreign intelligence, counterintelligence, operative-investigatory activities, organization, and ensuring of government communications as well as combating nationalism, dissent, and anti-Crescanian activities. The agency also has its own military body, made up of circa 50,000 highly trained operatives acting as strike teams spread throughout the Confederacy, ready to act against any and all things considered direct threats to national security. The agency's connection to the government can be described as decentralized, with the Head Executive holding direct control of the agency while personally answering to the Gu'ush, rather than the Gu'ush being in direct control. Current VNTK Head Executive is General H'rrahu Cai Vaisk, or as he is known within the agency, Executive Cai.
