The Unanian-Caelum First Contact War was a short military conflict between the Unanian Empire and the Empire of Caelum. The war was one of Unanian Counter-Aggression caused by Caelums unknowing invasion of Tyril and destruction of Unanian facilities on it's own homeworld. On the Unanian side, the goal of the war was one of defence after having been provoked. The war ended with Edolasian interference, in which they persuaded both sides to sign a peace treaty, followed by a non-aggression pact, which after a time evolved into an alliance. Due to the way the war ended, the Unanian Empire still holds grudge against the Empire of Caelum who has refused to apologize nor pay for damages incurred by the Unanian Empire after the initial invasion.
