The New Covenant Black Market is a newer source of Revenue for the much freer market the New Covenant has. This is mostly a result of the Large Fleet the Populace now occupies, meaning it is harder to keep track of business deals when done by individuals. After much trial and error, the New Covenant Black Market has come to learn how to optimize its dealings without drawing attention to itself, and one of the biggest ways to do that is to be a security risk. As a Black Market they will deal with just about anyone, under one exception, they are Human. The prejudice against Xenos Stems into the Black Market as well as anywhere else, but that is really about the only hindrance. Where those weapons or items go after though is not their problem for the right price.

Locations

In Order to keep running the various underground dealings that make up the Black Market, they usually meet outside of systems and in unihabited or remote systems. These include dead worlds, that cannot support life any longer or never will,Death Worlds which are quite the opposite of dead worlds because everything on the planet is very lethal and it is why most remain uninhabited, deep space is another local, but it is usually done in a definable area and so some sort of celestial phenomenon such as a distant Neutron Star or near a Nebula.

Generally anywhere they cannot be bothered by regulations, but still be capable of a hasty retreat back to the safety of their home fleets. Rarely are business meetings held on terrestrial world, and its usually just ships capable of landing that do this, so remote safe worlds are preferred, unless the business involve dangerous hunting.

Dealings

The Black Market usually as connections with legitimate businesses, and many times dealing in the black market are done by legitimate businesses, as the Black Market is not an extremely scary place in all its parts, and is much like a market place, just with the non civilian merchandise or things that are harder to come by at a cheap price or dealing in the exotic that are not done in plain sight and only available to those actually interested.

One of the biggest connections for bigger weapons and technology dealers is the Technologis, who will buy off Xenos tech that they could never hope to acquire without openly defying authority. They will take scavenged ancient and exotic Alien technologies to study from Black Market dealers, often through compensation of money or Rare tech the Technologis only has access to. This is possibly the most lucrative as it has led to groups of adventurers forming to search for long dead alien tech, or stealing tech from aliens all in the hopes of making money. These dealing with the Technologis have led to many new technologies being on the market, some of them being the prototypes of New Covenant tech using methods and technologies learned from Xenos tech.

Solid Projectile Weapons

This weapon type is the most easily accessible in the Black Market, and can range anywhere from illegal fully automatic firearms to Lance weapons. The quality of these weapons varies and the most expensive are Lances or heavy weapons. As for Lances these tend to not be Crusader Quality ones, lacking the technologies available to the Crusaders, but are still quite expensive and powerful. Heavy weapons can be things from heavy machine-guns, to auto-cannons.

Laser Weaponry

These are the next most abundant Weapons of the Black Market, and they typically are made up of the weapon surplus of older Laser Weapon Models that do not make use of newer advances, these are also not civilian grade. These however still remain reliable and can be just as powerful as newer counterparts. There are also illegal modifications to these weapons available, that change the function of the weapons from their intended use. Larger Laser Weapons are available, but not the newest Models, however the newer models of Laser Rifles and Pistols can be acquired, but most prefer the older models due to variety.

Plasma Weaponry

Plasma Weapons are extremely expensive in the Black Market, and are also deadly to the user who is not careful. Older models are the only option, but money can be spent on improving the weapons through modification. Larger Plasma weapons, larger than the Rifle are not available, except maybe in vehicle mounted forms. The more alien Influenced prototypes of the new Plasma Pistols are also available only int the Black Market as they do not entirely resemble normal Plasma Pistols, and this Xeno-Influenced models fire Green tinged Plasma unlike typical blueish plasma of the New Covenant.

Fury Weapons

Older Models of Fury Weapons are available, and quite expensive, but are overall preferred to plasma in close range engagements, especially since they do not overheat, and are just as devastating. Pistol Models are Extremely Rare, and expensive, so Rifle Versions are typically the most used.

Flame Weapons

Flame Throwers are common weapons, and easy to get a hold of. They are loved for their intimidation factor, and the unique fuel they use causing burning even in vacuum environment. They are typically bought by those who intend on killing a lot of things in a short amount of time, which is good for Xeno Infested planets, where the Local Fauna is numerous and small. Flame weapons are also good against shielded units, where the flamethrower will generally ignore most types of shielding that uses kinetics force as a indicator to activate.

Particle Weapons

Particle weapons are a rarity, and take many forms. The strange thing though is these weapons are virtually Identical to New Covenant Laser Weaponry, and may be mistake for Laser weapons. In fact many "Laser" Rifle models are in fact Particle weapons, that perform the same function. So it is up to the eye of the buyer to determine if what he is buying is actually a laser weapon of a particle weapon. This is most typically found in high Powered Customized Energy Weapon Sniper Rifles, where the layman may assume it is a laser weapon, when it is in fact not, the biggest indicator that the weapon is not a true laser is to check the barrel, if there is no focusing lens then is is a Particle weapon. These weapons usually cost more than their laser counterparts, simply because of quality, not because the seller knows its a Particle weapon.

Electro-Magnetic Weaponry

There are virtually no New Covenant Small arms that fit this class of weaponry. At most you might find a Xeno weapon that fits this, and it would be an expensive collectors piece. These type of weapons are found only at the Space Ship level, and are Cannons of Various size that use a combination of initial propellant charge with Magnetic Acceleration after.

Illegal/Heretical Weapons and Technology

Some technology is so perverse that it is entirely illegal, this category tends to be filled with Xenos Technologies, usually the more exotic types of weapons. This also includes heretical Demonic weaponry, which in many cases is the same as their New Covenant counterparts except for the fact that they are corrupted by foul Demonic forces, and tend to be warped and corrupted in appearance. Demonic weapons in the Black Market usually have things such as holy verses on sanctified seals placed on the weapons to quell the demonic spiits within, or at least keep them from harming the users mind too much, these weapons tend to be somewhat unreliable due to the amount of sentience some have, but function identically to normal counterparts. Some technologies originate from the New Covenant themselves, and these can be illegal for many reason, usually because of adverse affects or personal safety, most common in this category are Warp based weaponry.

Melee Weapons

Melee weapons are numerous and typically more specialized items. These weapons vary greatly, with the cheapest possible being Chain weapons, though standard melee weapons can be found which are even cheaper and made effective with modifications, which use motorized Chain saw action combined with high strength metal teeth to cut through virtually any armor of standard protection, though more expensive versions can be capable of cutting through even tougher material. Power Weapons Are even more expensive, being the best in this category, and are usually only purchased by those with plenty of money, usually as a status symbol. Crusader Quality versions of certain power weapons are not available, such as power fists, which then only military grade may be acquired, which is usually more than enough for anyone's purposes.

Armor

Armor being a specialty of the New Covenant means their are various types of armors available, and practically the only limit is materials and imagination. From standard infantry armor, to specialized Power armor below Crusader grade is available. Armor may also be customized to the needs of the buyer, by purchasing and requisitioning the construction of armor through the Smithing Guild.

Vehicles and Ships

Ships and vehicles are some of the more expensive things, and typically cannot be acquired. Vehicles tend to be older models of Military Vehicles, or civilian vehicles that have been illegally modified. Ship Modifications and parts are the most common thing related to ships sold, and ships are usually only sold when someone recovers these ships from wrecks lost in space, these are usually repaired and sold, though rights to pilot said ships still need to be acquired through legal channels.
