The Interstellar Credits is the name of the currency currently used in the Kaveni Empire, their predecessor: The National Credits were implanted a year after the founding of the Kaveni Empire. Although coins still exist they are more of a collectors item. In everyday use all transaction are made using their digital form. By law every citizen of the Kaveni Empire is required to carry their Credit Chit with them at all times outside of their own living or working space. When the Kaveni Empire established its first extra solar colony the name changed from National Credits to Interstellar Credits.
