The Hano ki Kaletenu da Crescaniei, literally meaning "Soldiers of Colonies of Crescania" and shortened HKC, is the name given to the Crescanian colonial marine corps. They deal with all matters concerning colonial security and are also the ones sent to board enemy vessels and stations. They are officially part of the navy branch, but represent the majority of Crescania's infantry forces. They are, however, not deployed for on-ground engagements if the planet in question is not a Crescanian colony, which is to say, if it is the homeworld Cusorea or a hostile planet. Then the KRTC are deployed instead. HKC marines are easily recognized by having white armours with black stripes along arms and legs and the top of the helmet, whereas the KRTC have black armours and white stripes.
