Forge World

A Forge world is a natural planet that is colonized and changed over time into and industrial planet. Forge worlds only exist within the New Covenant Territories, though it can be assumed that others exist, reappearing in reality after emerging from the Warp. The chances of finding a Forge World are slim at best and the New Covenant would fight a war to recover one due to their value.

Forge Worlds are covered in all sorts of Factorums for producing materials and for construction on a massive scale, they are some of the most advanced Factories available to the New Covenant and when given an ample workforce they can output all the materials needed to support a massive empire.

Plans to build new Forge worlds are in the works but due to the sizable investment making one is, recovery of rediscovered worlds is the only plausible way of securing more.

Currently only two are known to exist, and they are highly protected, typically having extremely high amounts of Ground defense structures that make quick work of Orbiting ships, and automated defenses are on nearly every necessary structure, which is usually supplemented by Stationed forces that are usually well equipped because they are kept on a Forge World.
