The Crescanian Civil War was a an armed conflict that raged across the majority of the Crescanian Confederacy between 2861 and 2865 G.C. The conflict started when former Crescanian military commander Tasí Tayect managed to break a power of 2,4 million soldiers from the Crescanian military, forming the Crescanian Liberation Army, and launched attacks on several government colonies simultaneously. The goal of the rebellion was to overthrow the Gu'ush, who was branded a warmongering tyrant by the CLA, and thus end the Vaisk dynasty and replacing it with a Tayect dynasty with Tasí Tayect taking the throne. The rebel force could however simply not contend with the overwhelming numbers, resources and firepower of the government forces along with its allies.
The CLA aimed at growing their numbers by at least ten times by establishing hidden bases in the territories of the Crescanian Confederacy, the Unani Empire and the Kingdom of Edolas and from there enable troops to strike with surprise at their goals as well as feed anti-government propaganda into the respective empires' media streams by hijacking media channels. However, some of these bases were discovered in Edolasian territory, to which Edolas responded with sending teams of Brain Chargers to take out the rebels and gather further intelligence. The operations were successful, and the locations of the remaining bases were discovered, leading to the destruction of each one. With their bases destroyed and most of their forces wiped out, the CLA were all but defeated, and the Crescanian government has stated that the civil war has ended, and now they are simply hunting the remainders of the CLA, among them Tayect and his closest men.
