Blackmountain Industries a privately funded Salchissan armor and arms manufacturer, security company and mercenary corporation, created in 2823 by billionaire Selalom Marrack, and has its main base of operations in the city of Kermaro on Salchissa. 51% of the company is currently owned by Vejarek Marrack, the grandson of Selalom Marrack, with the remaining 49% owned by various shareholders. It is officially under the complete control of the Crescanian government, but like most corporations like them, Blackmountain acts very independently from Crescanian influence, and even conduct in operations classed as illegal in Crescanian space. It is the by far largest and most powerful Salchissan mercenary company, with over 360,000 employees, 10,000 of them being soldiers, guards and agents. It deals in just about any sort of business, be it smuggling, trafficking, guard duty or counter-terrorism. Blackmountain soldiers are the most numerous and among the best trained among all the mercenary companies, making them a real military force within itself, even though it is still more or less in the Crescanian Government's leash. Blackmountain is well-known for being quick and efficient in their work, and has such gotten the most attention from the government as well as private contractors. Blackmountain soldiers are the most commonly seen mercenary in the Crescanian military.
