Arcadius Faber is a unique Technologis Acolyte. He is unique in that he only loosely relates back to the organization from which he came from. He is an Electro-Magus, and a young one at that, who for some reason had a desire to become a music DJ and performing artist in the Underground club scene. He however is also an assassin of note, and his age should not be discounted for he is still quite lethal and dangerous.
Description
Not much is known about his facial appearance as he an advanced helmet with a rebreather at all times. For those who do know however, he has short black hair and cobalt blue eyes. His face is fare and unblemished but also very pale.
He stands at about 5'11 and is very lean and toned and looks flexible. Like all Technologis who have been granted the cyber mantel that allows machine integration with his body, he also has incredibly powerful potentia coils as a power source installed on the cyber mantel. His body is covered in special nodes meant for integration with his suit, and micro fibers installed under his skin to stimulate his reflexes beyond normal human ability. To combat any damage from this, he has had his tendons reinforced, and his muscles reinforced lightly to prevent damage from his increased reaction speed, as well as synthetic capping on his joints to prevent wearing on the bones.
Armor and Clothing Description
He wears a full head covering helmet, and it fits well to his head. It has a large black visor with many visual inputs and data feeds on its HUD(Heads Up Display). The Helmet is Neural interfaced with him as well.
His suit is a full black suit of synthetic fibers and forms to his body. Along the suit run wires for carrying electric charge and their are small Tesla nodes along the body and larger coils on the Titanium alloy Pauldrons, that form closely to the shoulder, enabling movement.
The Gloves of the suit are unique and possibly the main feature, they are composed of the same material as the suit, but have titanium plating on the back of the hand with a Tesla Node. The Tip of each digit similarly has a Titanium Alloy conical tip with a small blue glowing opening on the end. These are both weapons and tools, this directs the Electricity he shoots, though any of the nodes can be used this grants the most control. These are also used in welding, soldering and even hacking. Finally, the feature that shows his Technologis confections is his red and gold trimmed Hooded Cowl, that drapes like a small tattered cape behind him and covers his Helmet except for the face. Around his waist is a bronze gold, segmented belt, with a Cog Shaped Buckle with a Gold Skull. A kilt like cloth of crimson red like the Cowl, the front was open though seeing the inner thighs, and a single cloth hung down between the legs from the belt.
Personality
Despite his love of Music, he is actually quite taciturn. He is always short and a man of few words with others.
He is not unkind however and often gives to the needy, and tithes regularly. Like all other New Covenant people though he is a Catholic in full, but being apart of the Technologis gave him much of their views on science and technologies, including the belief in Machine Spirits. This he keeps to himself, though it is unsure if its simply due to his untalkative nature.
He is fully within his element on a stage , or behind a turn table (Or the closest thing to one that would exist in this time period) even though he doesn't use it.
History
Arcadius was born on Arcturus, the major Forge world of the New Covenant and source of the empire's massive production capabilities. He was of course born during the major war with Caesar, and as such, his family was killed in an assault on the planet by the Demonic forces. Being now orphaned because of the war like so many others, he was picked up by the Church, however the Technologis saw the small child's potential, as they put him through tests to see if he was a psyker, he did not pass but what he did do was take apart and reassemble some of the high tech equipment. This grabbed the notice of the Technologis who immediately took him under their wing, much to the disdain of the Church.
As he grew up in the Technologis and learned from those much senior to him, he became a genius in the ways of Technology of all sorts, taking an interest in cybernetics, computers, Electro-Plasma discharge weapons. He played and worked, building many things and wrecking some others, but it was all part of the development process of the boys mind. However still being young, he had aspirations for other things his technology could do.
As he aged into puberty and young adult hood, he became more aggressive and wanted to test himself in other ways, and so he became a part of a combat program to train Technologis adepts in the ways of combat, hacking and espionage. He immediately put his craft to the works, and modified his body with neural interfaces as he constructed a suit for himself to fight in. What he developed allowed him to generate electrical arcs from his body and hands, and command the electricity as he saw fit, even stealing power from electrical sources. It turned him into a potent weapon, and his training enabled him more so as he learned to be fast and agile in his suit, which he modified further to suit the need of being fast and quick on his reflexes.
This continued for some time, but the program was eventually canceled in favor of others, as they were proving to be a direct competitor to the already far more ancient Assassin Temple of the New Covenant. With that Arcadius had to return to normal work, and overseeing construction, and research with his colleagues.
He eventually grew bored, as his boy hood dreams came back as he realized now that he had all the tools necessary to fulfill them. His aspiration was in fact to be a musician, a DJ. With that he applied to work and research independently, and was granted such rights for his previous work.
He quickly got into the club scene, going to places out of the New Covenants watchful eye, where the youth would play. It started out good enough, as he began to DJ, he became an instant hit as his body and hands were his instrument and a personal light show. He used his Electricity to play music with the electrical arcs, and play them in a beautiful show, and mix them like any other DJ could but in a fantastic way.
His Displays caught the attention of darker places though, and soon he performed at more underground club, one with ties to the Black Market. As he performed he was assaulted by some seedier sorts, who wanted to beat the new guy. Little did they know that the light show was quite lethal, and with their quick demise the music still played unhindered by the interference and scum lay dead at his feet. He eventually became a hitman of sorts, a discreet assassin, as he was hired to eliminate people who threatened businesses, and lives. He did this all the while remaining a DJ to this day. Now however he has aspirations to continue his DJing with less death involved, and the lack of a War seems the best place to do it.
