The Angelicytes

The angelicytes are a trans-dimensional race whose strength and technology is nearly unrivaled. However, this has proved to be detrimental as this power often comes with punishment, killing the people around them and making them seen as monsters, demons, and harbingers of doom. Due to this, the empire is actually a shadow of its former self, a reclusive society who are scared to interact with those who aren't angelicytes. They fear punishment, and at the same time seek it. As of now, they have sealed themselves off from the rest of the world, and the many off-shoots from it. However, their presence, though tiny, still reverberates throughout life, as if signaling life is not done with them yet.....

Plot

The Angelicytes have been relatively quiet in the main world, simply choosing to watch and slowly but surely have an effect. However, the leader of the faction defies this and is more noticeable. They have assisted mostly during the Requiem conflict, offering a small number of soldiers and special ops as well as providing slight technology increase. There is an Angelicyte spy in every empire in the galactic system, including in any major galactic threats that are active. Lumia Luminae is the first princess of the 2nd Angelicytian monarchy, with her son also in line for inheritance.

Biological Features

Angelicytes could be compared to 'Super Humans'. Their power ranges from great to extreme, organized by a ranking system. This system does not usually indicate economic status, but commonly there is a correlation found. Each angelicyte has a red spherical object in their solar plexus region, which not only contains their soul, but emulates all needed organs. In addition, it generates a strong defense field, which for the highest ranking angelicytes is impervious, called the "AT Field". The weakness to the AT field is in fact, another AT field opposing it. On their back are energy wings, with more of them equaling more power. They aren't wings in a bird or dragon sense, but still extensions from the body which allow them to fly, and even have religions mark them as 'holy', with a halo helping this. There is also another striking feature about them: another body. This body is known as the 'evangelical' form, a monstrous form capable of extraordinary feats.
