The Unanian Agency of Science is the government agency which directs all scientific endeavors. Funding for the Agency is decided on a quarterly basis when the Director meets with the Prime Minister to brief on breakthroughs and funding projections. The Unanian Agency of Science is one of the most funded agencies in the empire.
Academian Islands Council
The Academian Islands Council is the largest branch of the Unanian Agency of Science. In-charge of all matters related to the Academian Islands, the council is the top bureaucratic entity, with the leaders of every district reporting directly to the council. At the head of the council is the Director of the Sciences for the Unanian Agency of Science with the rest of the council members being hand picked by the director.
The Academian Islands Council is responsible for all areas of the Academian Islands ranging from infrastructure and law enforcement to policies and budgets. In addition, the Council is able to veto and replace district leaders or policies at a drop of a hat if they are determined to not fit within the Academian Islands Code of Conduct. The Main duty of the Academian Islands Council is to ensure the Academian Islands is as focused towards its goal as possible, and to take preventive and corrective measure to ensure that.
