The Chitra unification war was the first major war of the Heating wars, the Hoanian Union sought to capture the entire continent of Chitra on the Kaveni home planet of Hoa. The war lasted 78 years, during the whole war the technologically advanced Hoanian Union had total control of all the airspace and blocked every attempt of the enemy to launch a spacecraft.
After a long and hard guerrilla war the smaller states agreed to be annexed into the empire and their people became equal citizens.
