The XLS Assault Rifle is the standard plasma rifle in all parts of the Crescanian military, and is believed to be the most mass-produced rifle in the galaxy, even though their exact numbers are classified. It is considered to have set the standards for Crescanian assault rifles, making use of the standard magazine holding 100 plasma capsules, and has the standard construction in which the Nogava reactor is placed right above the grip. It is also known as one of the most feared guns in the galaxy due to it splashing the plasma on hostiles, which causes much more pain than a ballistic bullet, and taking longer to damage any vital organs. All Crescanian plasma weapons do this but the XLS is by far the most encountered model.
