The Legionnaires are the elite infantry soldiers of the Crescanian army, and can often be seen on most ground battles Crescania fights in, but can otherwise only very rarely be found anywhere else than Crescanian inner colonies and the Croiz homeworld Cusorea. Like every other part of the Crescanian military, only Croiz are allowed to join the Legionnaires, and they are most often recruited by soldiers getting a commendation for exceptional skill and bravery on the battlefield, and then getting transferred to one of the widespread Legionnaire headquarters as a candidate to receive Legionnaire training. Shazcoi members are most often recruited from Legionnaire ranks.

After being transferred to any Legionnaire headquarters, the candidates are put through back-breaking combat training and exercises, making the ones that pass able to work effectively in just about any circumstances. To help them further in that, they are provided with the latest Crescanian military technology, such as the K-9 Assault Rifle, which is standard equipment for any Legionnaire. They are also given enhanced reflexes, speed and strength through a number of biomechanical implants inserted surgically into their bodies. All of this together makes the Crescanian Legionnaire one of the most feared warriors in the known galaxy.
