H.I.V.E, real name classified, is a hyper-intelligent Artificial Intelligence created by the Crescanian Confederacy in Project Iron Heart to serve both as a data hub for Crescanian troops as well as an "Overlord" of the S-series combat AI's, to which H.I.V.E also belongs. Like the other S-series AI's, H.I.V.E does not have the concepts of emotion, ethics or moral programmed into its core, but instead follows the three basic laws programmed into their very being, and H.I.V.E is specifically responsible for making sure the other S-series variants follow these laws, and has been programmed to immediately shut down any violator of these laws. But unlike the other S-series AI's, H.I.V.E has been programmed to be interpreted as a female, speaking with a feminine voice, and with a tone of politeness and more emotion than the other AI's of the series, who all speak with voices deliberately masculine, monotone and metallic in order to be used for intimidation.

H.I.V.E is perfectly integrated into the shared Entente data systems, and can access any piece of non-classified technology that holds room for an AI in any Entente empire, with the exception of the Empire of Caelum, which have not yet given Crescania permission to acces their systems.
