The Academian Islands, founded after the Great War in 15G.C, were born after a need to get both Human and Fe'Juk scientists to work together, something which was particularly hard due to factors ranging from culture clashes all the way to general mistrust. The Original island which started on Tyril was chosen due to its relative emptiness after the Great War in addition to the ease of getting those involved to want to move due to its natural landscape and climate.
