The Unatro Val, or Unatro for short is a Human Genetic Modification that enables the user to gain magical abilities through energy manipulation. A concept once before only seen in Unani fantasy and fiction stories. Much like the H.P.C; It is mandated by the Unani Government that every citizen is given one at birth.

Medical Procedure

The Implant

The Unatro genetic alteration is implanted into the individual through a patch and injection system. At birth, the doctor will place two patches on the back of each hand followed by two injections into the feet. These first immunizations will then transfer specific genetic instructions through the blood stream to alter the Empty Genome which had been found within both Unani-Human and Unani-Fe'Juk DNA.

Development

When the vaccinations and patches have been first given, the only thing that you would notice is the undeveloped Unatro mark on the back of the hand. Throughout the first two years of life, the body will continue to follow the DNA alterations which were made to develop a new organ which is held within the rib-cage under the lungs and heart. To connect the new organ to the body. When the body has completed the organ, a new bodily wiring system similar to the nervous system will begin to grow.

By the time that the individual reaches their fifth year of age; the new Unatro system, which connects the individual limbs to the Unatro Organ, will have finished its biological development. This allows the energy to flow freely throughout the body. When the Unatro System has been completed, the symbols on the back of each hand will fully unlock showing the entirety of the symbol. This visual cue is used to determine when a child is fully able to use their Unatro abilities.

Side Effects

The only known side effect is that the patch leaves a mark on the back of the individuals hand that looks like a semi circle with a stick on the bottom. the marks may vary in color, and transparency based on many factors, but it is typically a semi-transparent black. At first the cause of this symbol was largely unknown to Unani Scientists, it was later revealed to be the Ancients Symbol for Geis Walker.
