The Sigma Tau research station is a 1,5 km long military/scientific joint establishment located in the classified Ojierta system. It focuses solely on developing new technologies, tactics and the like made for military use. The station's location is highly classified and just its existence is a leaked secret. But since most of the Crescanian population knows of its existence, there are countless myths and rumors surrounding this mystical station. When the existence of the station was first leaked, the Crescanian government denied its existence for a whole two years before finally admitting it, but what happens there is still anyone's guess, with the exception of the station's staff as well as the Gu'ush. It is said that the K-series combat droids, the S-series combat AI, the Valkyria Project and the original Dálkas are among the things developed on Sigma Tau, but the government has neither denied nor admitted on this.

Sigma Tau is one of the few research stations in the Confederacy that is not shared among the other Entente members, which means that the station and all its secrets are strictly off-limits from anyone but certain Crescanian officials. Unanian, Edolasian and Caelumian officials are not allowed on the station, despite being Crescanian allies.
