No, see, I read the description; but using steel plate armor in this game is a surefire way to get yourself killed by the first kinetic projectile (SPW or electromagnetic) that slams into you (you're okay against energy weapons, though, since you have ceramics). Chobham armor is ridiculously complex and doesn't use anything resembling steel plate with at least seven different types of complex alloys melted together alongside a layer of ceramics (our futuristic armours are even more complex). If you want look and protection, go for titanium alloy plates because they basically look the same; but using steel plate would be the equivalent of wearing leather armor to protect against a master enchanted and master smithed Dragonbone warhammer.

Yeah thats nice, Steel is just lay terms you see, do think he would use actual steel? More like a steel allow, and further more assuming it only consists of that, and not underlying fabricss, bulletproof fabrics that are also made to withstand vaccuum environments, yes its an Alloy, please calm down, its all for looks, Your input was unnecessary, as I am fully aware of how armor works. I made Verric so I could have a fun character that does my favorite thing in any RPG, Smithing! So yeah he can make cool stuff for anyone who can pay him, and reduce cost if they provide the materials as well. He can make advanced things as well, excluding Power armor he can make armored plates that can be put on a power armor frame, but he cannot make the powered part of power armor. He also can assemble and modify guns, though he prefers the forge. So yeah I expect him to interact with more interesting folks. SenHai (talk)

Erm, Necross; there's a reason we don't use steel plate in MODERN armor anymore (putting aside the fact that this is the far future). Ceramics and metal alloys/titanium/tungsten would be best.

Erm, Ragez, read the damn description. Think Chobham Armor but more advanced. Its also for look. So calm your titsSenHai (talk)
